Comfortable

Great fit & finish spoilt by excessive wind noise.
Will try adding foam to helmet to solve this but otherwise Great

Simply excellent

Really pleased with my X.WED3 ZERO PRO. Perfect fit, light and very comfortable and the ventilation is excellent - can't wait to try it in some serious summer heat. The finish on the carbon fibre is superb and all of the extras are a great touch. I really can't fault the helmet or Nexx.

Complained about drop down sun visor

The helmet is very comfortable and after a 12 hour ride in mostly rain the pin lock worked great. I also bought the xcom pro at same time and it is a great bit of kit also. The only problem is the drop down sun shield is quite loose and vibrates down a small bit when roads are a little rough. I haven’t been off-road yet but could imagine this would make it worse. I sent an email and spoke twice to the supplier about not wanting to post helmet back overseas and just want to know how to tighten it. That was a week ago and still no reply from Nexx which is a bit worrying.

Very impressive helmet for the money

I was on the lookout for a new helmet, the ones in the running were the Arai Tour X5, the Klim Krios Pro and the X.WED3. After careful consideration of the various helmets, features and prices I decided to give the the X.WED 3 Zero Pro a chance, and I am not disappointed.

This helmet is Carbon Fibre, although not as light as the Klim, but singe I load my helmet up with stuff like camera, comms and other items, I'm not too worried about that. I would also say it's not the most silent helmet, but I wouldn't call it loud at all, it's quieter than my old Arai, Shoei and AGV, so overall an improvement. The viewport is amazing, large and wide, allowing for less head movement to check for blind spots. The visor is extremely good too, almost no optical deformation, pretty must like not having a visor at all, and in this model it has a Pinlock 120XLT which is top of the range!

The comfort aspects are also very well curated, the insert materials for the interior are very very plush and high quality, it feels like an extremely well put together product, very premium materials and finishing. The fitment is spot-on on my average round shape head, and in XL (my normal size) it fits snug and comfortable with no sore or pressure points.

I would have preferred it to have a ratchet strap system, but it's got the next best thing in my book, a double D clasp, with is really secure, and in this model the extra strap has a magnetic attachment instead of a popper button, which makes it more practical, but do be aware that it is a larger button so it does make it a bit trickier to pass through the double D.

Comms compatibility is fairly good, I was able to install my Cardo without any major issues, and it allows for the cables to be routed under the rubber grommet and inside the helmet with pre-cut channels inside, making the entire thing much neater.

The peak is light and flexible, and comes with an extension(installed in the picture), overall no complains there, easy to put in and remove with thumb screws, so no tools required.

The helmet comes in a high quality fabric transport bag and - in version - also includes a tinted visor (80%) which also comes in a padded fabric pouch, all very high quality.

The package also includes 3 camera mounts which can be screwed to the helmet: a top mount one, a side mount one and a chin mount one (pictured with the chin mount). It's great that they include all of this and they are very easy and practical to use.

Lastly, the package also includes all sorts of bit like rubber grommets for the peak and blanking plates for the visor hinge if you decide to remove it in favour of using goggles, and on that note, it also includes a removable clip at the back to securely hold your goggle straps.

In summary, the helmet feels very premium, inline with it's sector's competitors, for a reduced price while including all possible accessories you might need. I am very pleased with it!
