So... This could have been a great helmet. Comfy, looks great and is quiet when riding... But...
Firstly I ordered through the UK distributor directly, I would not recommend it. It took multiple days and phone calls chasing to get them to even dispatch it. To the point where the customer service agent had to go and pack the item themselves as it hadn't been done and they couldn't work out why. The postage was next day courier so that was good.
Secondly it arrived with one of the pinlocks studs poorly installed, was wonky and not flush to the visor, and when trying to install the pinlock as per the video, no instructions included, the stud immediately broke. This was eventually replaced under warranty but that also took multiple phone calls, emails and days to rectify.
The worst part is the pinlock screen itself. When installed, required otherwise the visor immediately and badly mists up, the rubber seal at the top of the visor window drags and bends up on the very soft plastic of the inside of the pinlock leaving marks and small scratches after only a couple of movements of the visor.
As soon as there is any kind of debris or grit on that seal, from riding around, I fear there will be much deeper scratches appearing.
This should have been, especially for the price, an amazing helmet but it has been somewhat of a letdown. I love the helmet but I can't say there isn't an amount of disappointment that comes along with it. I wouldn't recommend this to others without seeing it in hand first.
I think this may be my first and last helmet from nexx, which is a shame as I love the style and fit.
Fits me heed and does the job. I wanted a Adventure style helmet with a sun visor and this fitted the bill.
Very comfortable for me, yes you get wind noise off the peak but its not so bad that you can't live with it, it's not a sports bike helmet.
Very plush inside, fit is fantastic.
Speakers and com unit fits easy any easily the best I've used.
Love this helmet, if I'm critical its the fitting of the lining can be fiddly
Really well thought out helmet, everything works really well. Best ventilation I have experienced of any helmet, nice premium feel and so far very low wind noise. Oh and it's pretty easy on the eye to. Very happy.
A fabulous helmet. Top quality, perfect fit. Very pleased with it.
